An El Paso County community is set to begin construction on a new fire station.
Voters approved a tax increase in 2016 to help fund the construction of the station for the Green Mountain Falls/Chipita Park Fire Protection District.
The $4 million project will begin construction next month near Green Mountain Falls Town Hall.
It is expected to be finished by the end of 2020.
