The Salvation Army says it served more than 2,000 Christmas dinners to those in need in the Pikes Peak Region.
Volunteers helped serve lunch in Colorado Springs, Fountain, Woodland Park and Manitou Springs.
It cost about $5,000 to serve all meals but they were made possible thanks to a grant from Safeway and donations from the community.
