After running from a stolen vehicle officers were chasing, a man barricaded himself in a garage of a home on the Westside at Chestnut and St Vrain at about 4:30 Friday morning.
A gunshot was heard and after a couple of flash bangs were used, officers entered the garage.
When police found the suspect they reported he had life threatening injuries, no other information about his condition is known at this time.
No one in the home and no officers are injured.
