All state parks will require people to reserve campsites within the Colorado Parks and Wildlife purchasing system starting on January 1st.
Officials say it will provide flexibility to reserve spots from six months in advance until the moment they arrive at the park.
The system has been tested successfully over the last 2 years.
Reservations can be done online at cpwshop.com or over the phone.
