Police spent part of New Year’s Day investigating what was thought to be an explosive device near Briargate Blvd. and Lexington Drive.
They got a call about a suspicious item in the 7600 block of Vallhalla Drive.
After they closed the area off, they determined it wasn’t an explosive device but rather an aerosol tank wrapped in bubble wrap.
