A new pedestrian bridge is officially in place at Palmer Lake.
It was started Monday with project managers crediting the volunteer group Awake Palmer Lake for most of the money.
The town is paying for 30% for the bridge and Great Outdoors Colorado is also pitching in money.
The pedestrian bridge project should be completely finished in a few weeks.
