A woman charged in connection with a crash that cost a local musician his leg is now being hunted by police.
Tara Studer failed to appear in a Colorado Springs courtroom Monday and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She’s accused of driving under the influence and vehicular assault for a crash in July 2019.
Musician Mike Elmore lost part of his right leg and suffered other severe injuries.
Studer is also facing other charges after being arrested again in December 2019, including auto theft and attempted escape.
