A Colorado Springs daycare owner and 3 employees have been formally charged with 26-counts of misdemeanor child abuse after their court appearance in El Paso County court Wednesday.
Daycare owner Carla Faith is accused of hiding 26 children behind a false wall in a basement at Play Mountain Place on Willamette Avenue, one of two facilities she owns.
Court records show 31-year-old Katelynne Nelson, 35-year-old Christina Swauger and 24-year-old Valerie Fresquez, all face child abuse charges for each child found in the facility.
