Simon Escamilla was found guilty of attempted murder by a Colorado Springs jury on Friday.
Jannell Kilgore was shot and wounded in 2018 after Escamilla thought she had seen him shooting at another person and followed her to her home.
It was the second trial for Escamilla, after a mistrial was declared last year because a juror allegedly texted her boyfriend about the verdict.
