Fort Carson is letting the community know that they’ll be conducting prescribed burns on parts their property.
The burns will take place in the Fort Carson training areas and the Pinon Canyon Maneuver site starting April 1st.
Fort Carson says the prescribed burn program helps keep other wild land fires from breaking out.
All burns should end April 15th.
