El Paso County officials say they have received more than 125 million dollars from the Federal government for expenses related to the Coronavirus. The money will be split up between the county, Colorado Springs, and surrounding municipalities. El Paso County is expected to keep about 84 million. Colorado Springs will get some 37 million because of its population. The rest will go to other towns in the county. The money must be used to offest costs that accrued while fighting the covid-19 pandemic. Specific use of the money by the city of Colorado Springs and the county has not yet been determined
