Agents with the Rural Enforcement and Outreach Unit, Metro Vice Narcotics Intelligence Division and the El Paso County Sheriffs office served 3 search warrants on properties April 29th, and discovered 703 marijuana plants, 28 thousand dollars in cash and 5 firearms. Law enforcement went to homes in the 20000 block of Sahara Drive and 15000 block of Wagon Trail. Evidence seized led them to a 3rd site at 33000 East Highway 24. All 3 locations had marijuana plants in various stages of growth. The street value of the plants was valued at 700 thousand dollars. No word if any arrests were made.
