El Paso County Commissioner Mark Waller is facing an investigation into whether he actually lives in the district he represents. A complaint against Waller is being investigated by the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s office. Reportedly, Waller bought a home in Palmer Lake and plans to live there eventually, but he claims to be renting a home within his district and living there for the moment. If the investigation finds Waller is living outside his district, he would be removed from the county commission.
