COLORADO – Colorado Parks and Wildlife is out with its list of state park campgrounds that are being allowed to re-open. A number of locations started the phased-in approach on Tuesday, in an attempt to get things back up and running. Campgrounds are allowed to open at 50-percent capacity, but some still don’t have a startup date.
Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain National Park has set a date to begin reopening to the public. Park officials say shuttle operations within the Bear Lake Road corridor will begin May 27th, as well as the date for wilderness camping permits. Portions of the Moraine Park and Glacier Basin campgrounds will open on June 4th. More information about the reopening is available here on the park’s website. The list of opening dates is available here on the CPW website.
