COLORADO SPRINGS – The El Paso County Sheriff’s office is investigating the apparent suicide of a jail inmate on Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff’s spokesperson Jacqueline Kirby says the suicide is under investigation.
Deputies and medical staff at the jail attempted to revive the inmate but they were not successful. It’s the first suicide at the jail since last June. The identity of the prisoner is not yet available.
