Model projects fewer covid-19 cases in Springs this Summer

The Denver Post reports, a coronavirus model put together by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Policy Lab shows Colorado Springs and El Paso County could potentially see fewer cases of Covid-19 this summer. The report shows El Paso County only has 189 cases of Coronavirus for every 100 thousand people, and it suggests the county and the city of Colorado Springs could potentially re-open the economy faster. Doctor David Rubin of the policy lab says community, climate and individual decisions are the major factors affecting an increase or decrease in Covid-19.  He added social distancing and staying at home have gone a long way to knocking down new cases of Covid-19.
