According to El Paso County Court documents, the defense team for 36-year old Letecia Stauch filed a motion Monday to try and delay her upcoming hearings due to Covid-19. She has two hearings scheduled for June 5th and 8th. Stauch is facing numerous charges including first degree murder in connection with the death of her 11-year old stepson Gannon Stauch. The boy went missing in January and his body was found in Florida in March. Stauch’s defense team says because of theCcovid-19 pandemic and restrictions at the Colorado Springs Criminal Justice Center, they haven’t been able to adequately prepare for the hearings.
