Colorado Springs curfew in effect

Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers has announced a city wide curfew. It began Wednesday night. The curfew will run from 10p to 5am through Monday. Suthers decided on the curfew after a recommendation from Vince Niski, Colorado Springs Chief of Police. Demonstrators supporting George Floyd have been peaceful during the day but rowdy at times at night. Wednesday evening more than a hundred demonstrators will still on the streets when the curfew hit. Protestors moved north of Acacia Park and finally dispersed around 1130. Police say they were peaceful, and no arrests for violating curfew were made.
