The Colorado Springs Police department issued a three-part tweet addressing “misinformation regarding protests in Colorado Springs” on Wednesday, and they feel it’s important to clear up any information out there that’s wrong. The tweets go on to say no officers have been suspended for kneeling. No CSPD officers have shot any protesters, and only less lethal tactics have been used. Also, lawful orders to disperse have been given only after the protests reached a violent level.
