Guidelines are being released to allow gyms and pools to re-open amid the Coronavirus pandemic in Colorado. State health officials made the move Thursday. Gyms need to limit capacity to 25-percent or 50 people per room, whichever is fewer. Pools are also under the same capacity guidelines, but it’s strongly encouraged they only open for lap swimming. If open swimming is allowed, efforts need to be made to reduce in-pool interactions between people not in the same household. Some counties have already gotten variances to re-open facilities like gyms and rec centers.
