El PASO COUNTY – Health officials in El Paso County are reminding everyone that we could easily see more restrictions if Covid-19 cases continue to rise. There are several county variances in place that allowed many establishments to reopen and that could all change if we can’t get a handle on the rising number of cases in the county.
While county officials have submitted a mitigation plan, Dr. Robin Johnson with the El Paso County Health Department says we have to do much better. In fact, we only have about two weeks to do so, or we could revert back to stricter rules.
Health officials are asking the public to continue washing their hands and wearing masks. They’re also reminding people to be cautious about going to certain places and gathering in large crowds.
