SOUTHERN COLORADO – Public health officials in El Paso and Fremont counties are letting people know about recent Covid-19 outbreaks that may affect them. Two Colorado Springs dental offices are reporting coronavirus outbreaks. One of the dental offices, “Smile orthodontics & pediatric dentistry,” is located at 9334 Grand Cordera Parkway. The outbreak was reported on July 22nd, with five confirmed cases.
The second outbreak was reported on July 31st, at “Colorado Springs Pediatric Dentistry,” at 660 Southpoint Court. They’re dealing with two confirmed cases.
The Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment is confirming a Covid-19 outbreak at a veterinary clinic in Cañon City. There have been two confirmed positive cases among the staff at the “Rose Veterinary Clinic.” The health department says it’s working to identify and notify people who may have been exposed to the virus.
