MANITOU SPRINGS – The Manitou Incline may reopen soon after the Manitou Springs city council approved a memorandum of understanding at their meeting on Tuesday. In order to use the Incline, you have to make a reservation.
A limited number of people will be allowed to head up the Incline every half hour. The number of people allowed at one time could be increased in the coming weeks. Several weeks back, Colorado Springs officials made the suggestion and Manitou Springs initially turned it down,
Now, the City of Colorado Springs has to approve the proposal before the Incline can reopen.
