(PINE GULCH FIRE)
COLORADO – Four major wildfires are burning in Colorado with the largest being The Pine Gulch Fire burning north of Grand Junction. The fire 18-miles north of Grand Junction is now one of the largest fires in the state’s history. It’s grown to over 82-thousand acres and it’s still sitting at 7% containment.
Evacuations: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation order for residents on Roan Creek (204) road, Clear Creek (211) road, Carr Creek (207) road and Brush Creek (209) road on Sunday night. Garfield County issued an evacuation order for residences on CR 202 on Saturday. There is a staffed road closure at Roan Creek Road (204) at North Dry Fork (200) Road.

The Grizzly Creek Fire now over 26-thousand acres with no containment. I-70 remains closed again today. Drivers are asked to take U.S. 285 to U.S. 50 as a detour.
Evacuations: Multiple communities in Glenwood Canyon and Eagle County have received evacuation orders due to the growing blaze. On the night of August 13th, evacuation orders were given to people at Buck Point Drive, Coffee Pot Road and Sweetwater Road, which others placed under voluntary and pre-evacuation.

(CAMERON PEAK FIRE)
The Cameron Peak Fire has now burned through more than 12-thousand acres near Chambers Lake in western Larimer County with zero containment as of Monday morning. The fire is about 25-miles east of Walden and 15-miles southwest of Red Feather Lakes near Cameron Pass.CO 14 is closed between Rustic and Gould.
Evacuations: Multiple campgrounds have been evacuated and access to State Forest State Park is very limited.

(WILLIAMS FORK FIRE)
The Williams Fork Fire has burned over 6300 acres and it’s made its way into the Darling Creek area and into the Byers Peak wilderness. It’s been determined that this fire was human-caused. There is no further information available on a possible suspect.
Evacuations: Reportedly, Incident Command is working with the Grand County Sheriff’s Office on an evacuation plan for the town of Fraser, if it becomes necessary.
