The GAP Project will cause misery for drivers over the weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS – If you have plans to drive through the GAP Project on I-25 between Colorado Springs and Castle Rock this weekend, Starting Friday night, the northbound lanes of I-25 are being closed at the County Line bridge from 6:00 p.m. until Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Then crews will close the southbound lanes at County Line from 6:00 p.m. Saturday night until 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Crews are working on drainage and on new asphalt during the closures. Construction on the 18-mile long stretch of the highway isn’t expected to be completed until sometime in 2022.

If you want to avoid the hassle of using I-25, you can take Highway 83 or even Highway 105.
