CANON CITY – A man jumped to his death from the Royal Gorge Bridge on Monday. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the area just before noon. Security footage and eyewitnesses confirmed the man had jumped from the bridge.
His remains were found shortly after near the river and railroad tracks at the bottom of the gorge. The man’s identity has not been released as of yet and the sheriff’s office says they are still working to figure out why the man jumped.
