COLORADO SPRINGS – The El Paso County sheriff’s office says a 14-year-old shot an 18-year-old Tuesday night in Security-Widefield. El Paso County deputies responded to Caballero Avenue at President, south of Fontaine Blvd.and west of Fountain Mesa Rd. at about 9:45 p.m.
The teenager hasn’t been arrested yet and the sheriff’s office says both people involved knew each other. The 18-year old victim was taken to a hospital and their condition is unknown at this time. There is no threat to the community.
