COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police are investigating the cause of a deadly rollover crash that happened at about 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning. When rescue crews arrived, they found the crash on southbound I-25 near the S.Nevada Avenue exit.
The man driving the vehicle wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and he was thrown from the vehicle. They attempted to save the man, but their efforts weren’t successful. He was pronounced deceased at a local hospital shortly after.
In addition to the lack of a seatbelt, CSPD suspects speed as a factor in the accident. The man’s name hasn’t been released as of yet.
