COLORADO SPRINGS – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help in finding two men who are persons of interest in the case of a missing Kentucky woman. They say both men have also failed to register as sex offenders.
Brendan Camous and Clinton Peterson may have ties to the 2016 disappearance of 58-year old Lori Feltz, in Nicholas County, Kentucky. Feltz is mentally challenged and she went out for a walk and never returned. Court documents say search efforts were made and during the search, a Kentucky deputy reported finding Camous and Peterson in a shack nearby. The deputy wasn’t aware that they were wanted for failing to register as sex offenders. Other court documents show Clinton Peterson’s mother owned property not far from the woman’s home.
Clinton Peterson
Peterson is 5′8″ tall, weighs 175 lbs with red hair and blue eyes. He has three felony and one misdemeanor arrest warrants for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Failure to Comply with Probation.
Brendan Camous
Camous is 5′6″ tall, weighs 160 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He has two felony and one misdemeanor arrest warrants for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Failure to Comply with a Sex Assault on a Child Sentence, and Failure to Appear on a DUI charge.
They may be homeless and living in shacks in the El Paso, Teller and Northeastern Colorado areas. Authorities say not to approach the men or try to make contact with them because they are armed and dangerous. Instead, contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 719-520-6666.
