COLORADO – Coming to a cell phone near you-Soon, you’ll be able to get a notification on your smartphone if you’ve been potentially exposed to the Coronavirus. Governor Jared Polis made the announcement on Tuesday, saying the new app is called EN Express.
The app is not mandatory, it’s completely voluntary and no personal information will be tracked or shared. The Governor says it should be ready to be downloaded by the end of September. The software will be in the form of an operating system update for iPhone users and as an app for those who use the Android platform. It will automatically notify you if you’ve been in close contact with other users who report positive tests for coronavirus.
