A popular Colorado Springs restaurant to reopen

(King’s Chef Diner)

COLORADO SPRINGS – King’s Chef Diner has been a staple in the Springs for the last 64-years and due to the COVID-19 outbreak, some of their locations may never re-open. All of their restaurants have been closed for the last six-months as a result.

The purple castle on East Costilla St. is reopening Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. on a limited basis with plenty of outdoor seating. The location won’t offer dining indoors because of the size constraints of the space and health department COVID-19 guidelines. They’ll also offer take-out service.

The owners say they aren’t sure if they’ll reopen the location on East Bijou St. and the restaurant in Fountain is permanently closed. For more information on King’s Chef hours and the restaurant itself, CLICK HERE.
