COLORADO SPRINGS – Back in March when the Coronavirus made its presence known, Colorado Springs Utilities put utility disconnections on hold for customers who couldn’t pay their bills. Months later, they are getting ready to resume those disconnections.
CSU says the disconnect process is expected to resume in the middle of October. Many people have been dealing with furloughs or layoffs and it may be a problem for some customers. If you need some help with your utility bill, there are several options available at CSU.org and you can also reach out to Pikes Peak United Way by simply dialing 2-1-1 on your telephone.
