No Thanksgiving surge in Covid in county

The Pikes Peak Regional Joint Information Center said in a release Monday that there was not a significant spike in Covid 19 cases as a result of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Had there been a surge in positive cases officials say we would have seen it 2 weeks after Thanksgiving. The other piece of good news is El Paso county’s 14 day positivity percentage is also going down. Also hospitalizations and deaths due to Covid 19 are on the decline in the county.
