An unusual robbery early Sunday morning. Somebody broke into an El Paso County Sheriffs patrol car, parked just outside the Sheriffs office on Vermijo. The thief made off with a Glock 45 weapon, ammunition, a sheriff’s badge, body camera and bulletproof vest. Authorities are looking at video footage from surveillance cameras in the area for clues.
