The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment reports as of Tuesday night some 39 thousand people have received the Covid 19 vaccination in Colorado. This is the beginning of phase 1, targeting people who have direct contact with covid-19 patients, and long term care facility staff and residents. The next group to receive the vaccine will be health care workers that have less contact with Covid 19 patients, and first responders, to include dispatchers, correctional workers and those in the funeral industry.
