COLORADO SPRINGS – One 21-year old dead and another is facing charges after a deadly accident on the west side of Colorado Springs early Tuesday morning. Police are identifying the man who died in the rollover crash at 19th and King as Jonathon Dalton. He was a passenger in a Jeep that lost control on the icy road and flipped when it hit a curb.
The driver, Lyndon Loflin, was taken to the hospital for his injuries before he was taken to the El Paso County Jail. Loflin is facing vehicular homicide and DUI charges. Dalton is the 50th person to die in a Colorado Springs crash this year.
