CONEJOS COUNTY – There is new information on a case involving 3 mutilated bodies discovered in rural Conejos County last month. The remains were found on two nearby properties in the San Luis Valley. Thirty-eight-year-old Francisco Ramirez rented one of those properties and was arrested December 11th on federal weapons charges. According to the arrest affidavit, Ramirez is also under investigation as an accessory to the murders of the 3 individuals. On November 19th, 26-year-old Adre Baroz was arrested in the case. Two of the victims are identified as Myron Martinez and Shayla Hammel. The third set of remains are not yet identified.
