COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police are partnering up with a consulting firm to take an in-depth look at their use of force policies. Police Chief Vince Niski says the company, ” Transparency Matters,” will be impartial in studying the police department’s policies and see if any changes need to be made.
The Pennsylvania-based group is being praised for was praised for its comprehensive project approach, team qualification, and previous work looking at the use of force. The study should be finished later this year.
