TELLER COUNTY – A man who robbed a Colorado Springs bank last month is in custody again after a chase in Teller county. a deputy tried to pull over 66-year old David Oliver on Friday because the vehicle he was driving didn’t have license plates.
Oliver reportedly flashed a gun at the deputy before driving off. He eventually tossed the gun out of the vehicle and surrendered to deputies. He was booked on menacing and several other charges. Oliver was arrested last month after allegedly robbing a downtown bank, then throwing the money in the air and shouting “Merry Christmas.”
