After a number of complaints to the state, El Paso County will be receiving 12,900 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine next week. The weekly average of vaccines coming to El Paso county has been less than 10 thousand, and county health officials have argued it should be much more because of El Paso Counties population. The governor’s office said El Paso County has more than 10 thousand doses sitting on shelves and those should be used first. Not so, said county officials, who released a statement saying the governor’s office is sowing confusion and division, and accused the state of not being transparent about how many doses are going to each county.
