Another deadly weekend in Colorado’s high country. Authorities say 2 people were killed in separate avalanches Sunday in Clear Creek and Grand Counties. A snowmobiler died in Grand County west of Rollins pass on mount Epworth. A second person was killed in another avalanche in Clear Creek County. That person was caught in an avalanche early Sunday morning near Mount Trelease which is north of I-70 close to exit 216. The Colorado Avalanche Information Center says 10 people have been killed by avalanches this ski season.
