COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department is informing the community about a sex offender who is moved back into the area. Due to past behaviors, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation has labeled Steven Long a sexually violent predator. Long has been convicted of multiple crimes, including indecent assault and battery, child under 14 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and unlawful sexual contact in Lewiston, Maine. Long is currently registered as homeless near west Las Vegas Street.
