COLORADO SPRINGS – A major roadway in Colorado Springs is open for commuters Wednesday morning after a water main break closed the roadway more than a week ago. Crews spent Tuesday laying down new asphalt in the eastbound lanes between Chestnut and Rusina Rd. and engineers expected it to be completely cured and ready for traffic.

In a tweet yesterday, CSU thanked the community for its patience while repairs were completed.
