COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Springs Fire Department had a very busy morning on the west side of town on Thursday. Fire crews were first contacted about a fire on the outside of a business at 28th and Colorado Avenue. No sooner did they get the flames out there, they were called to another fire at 31st and Colorado Ae a few blocks away.
Soon after arriving at the UPS Store, fire crews called in a second alarm. Watch for fire equipment in the parking lot this morning. Both fires are under investigation and officials say the fires may have been intentionally set.
