AURORA– A two-year-old boy has succumbed to his injuries after falling two stories at an aurora mall. It happened around 4:30 Sunday at the Aurora Town Center. Authorities say the boy’s father was holding his son at the top of the escalator when the child slipped out of his dad’s arms and fell to the first floor. Currently, police say the incident was a tragic accident; however, the investigation is ongoing. Officials are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t yet spoken to investigators to reach out to metro Denver Crime Stoppers.
