UC Health announced that it’ll be requiring all employees to get vaccinated for Covid-19. The requirement also extends to UC Health’s providers, partners, and volunteers. UC Health officials say they want to set an example for the community and by doing so hope to end the pandemic sooner. They are also providing a $500 bonus to employees who are fully vaccinated by August 22nd. Currently 85% of their twenty-six thousand employees have had the vaccine.
