Douglas County authorities discovered the body of a woman Saturday off Highway 83 and north Pinery Parkway. The Douglas County Sheriff’s department says the body has been identified as a woman connected to a case in El Paso County. The Douglas County coroner will determine a cause of death. The El Paso County Sheriff’s office will investigate the case. Authorities say there is no known threat to the community. The woman’s identity has not been formally released. No word on how she died.
