Barry Morphew was back in a Chaffee County courtroom Wednesday afternoon. He is accused of killing his wife Suzanne around Mothers day last year. Prosecutors asked a judge yesterday to force Morphew to move closer to Salida because poor cellphone coverage in the area where he currently lives makes it hard for authorities to track his ankle monitor. The judge denied the prosecutor’s request so Morphew will continue to live in Maysville west of Monarch pass. However the judge did tell Morphew he has no reason to be on his former property and if he trespasses he will go to jail. Morphew is currently out on bond.
