Some parents around Colorado Springs might be surprised by something with their ballot. Reports are coming in about confusion over why some ballots don’t have any information about the current school board election. Turns out it’s because the district only allows parents to vote when they live in an area with an open school board seat. Some parents won’t be able to vote in the school board election because they aren’t in an area that has an open seat. Only Districts 1, 4 and 5 have candidates on this year’s ballot.
