We now know that Colorado Springs Police gunfire injured a suspect who stole a car and tried to escape officers on Nov. 15. It happened around 4 p.m., near the intersection of N. Academy and Carefree. At least one officer fired his weapon, wounding the suspect. The suspect stole a car, but crashed it. All officers and two victims connected to the car are OK. The suspect’s name hasn’t been released, but he will go to jail after he leaves the hospital. His injuries aren’t considered life threatening.
